Adventuring with Greg

Weeks before my birthday, Greg asked if I wanted to go up to his cabin. That day came and on Friday, I packed my stuff and met with him at their place in Danville. His parents were supposed to go as well, but his dad decided that he’s had too much traveling as of late and was kinda tired. So, it was just the two of us.

We left at 8pm to Twain Harte and got there around 11pm. Nothing can be done at that point, so we got ourselves a bottle of tequila and drank about half of the bottle and passed out. :) Good times!

I didn’t know what to expect during the trip. We both brought our mountain bikes and camping equipment. What to do was up for grabs. We just played it by ear.

The next morning, Greg and I found ourselves driving towards Stanislaus National Park, visited so many places, and ended up at Yosemite National Park. Woohoo!!! I have never been to that famous park. This was truly a pleasant surprise! We took photographs during the entire trip. By 6pm we were on the way home and had gotten so hungry. We parked by the highway and set up a table and grill. We grilled 12 pieces of pork bbq skewers. Yummmmm!!! By 8pm, we were on our way back to the cabin.

We dropped by the local liquor store and Greg bought a bottle of Vodka and cranberry juice. At the cabin, we got wasted! HAHAHA! Like I said, fun times!!!

The next day, we dealt with our hangovers quite quickly and efficiently. Around 11am, we went biking around Lyons Lake, a few miles away from the cabin. The scenery was just awesome! I love the outdoors! Anyway, we ended up cycling around the lake and back to where we parked the car. Greg says we did about 16 miles! Wow! The trail was rough and a little challenging. But it was all worth it! I enjoyed every moment of it.

Anyway, before I blabber, watch the slideshow of the photographs we took. Enjoy!

Greg, thank you once again for this wonderful adventure!
