I am done tweaking themes for the moment. After marrying the Durable and Hemingway theme, a child is born named Cobalt… not for anything else, but because of the colors that I used.
Durable’s layout is very functional as well as it’s efficient use of Ajax. I took the functionality of the Hemingway Blocks to make it easier for me to manage the bottom bar.

I’m finally content and happy with this theme. Happy times!
