I’ve been working on this theme for a long time and I may have just reached the end of it. The sleepless nights, head-scratching, skipped meals and several sticks of cigarettes have somehow been rewarding. Not to mention the bottles of Coors Light and Yuengling that made me feel better at the end of each day!
Okay. I can breathe and rest… for now. My creative-juice-generating cells have not regenerated yet, but I think there is still hope that they will. So, yeah, this will be all for now. I am happy.
I have incorporated all the necessary functions into the theme, so there is no need to upload and activate any plugins. It’s a pretty simple theme anyway. There are only three major functions that it needs: SideBlog, Weighted Categories and BLC. The theme is also extended live archives (ELA)-ready, eventhough I made sure that browsing by category or month using the old way is still available.
One thing that I’m having second thoughts on is the use of gravatars. Do I really need them? Somehow, I feel that gravatars contribute to the slow page loads. Hmmm. Anyone has an opinion on this?

Widgets? I don’t believe in widgets. It makes life easy for some. But it also makes them a little lazy. If not, dumber. So, don’t expect me to use them. Ciao!
