A new sitcom aired tonight on WB11 called “Modern Men” with Jane Seymour as the Life Coach of three young men struggling with their relationships.
Truly funny and quite enlightening. A must see for people who don’t have a clue why their relationships fail. Well, this show puts it on a lighter context. It’s funny. I may learn a lesson or two.
Lesson number one: Tell the truth. It didn’t quite work out for the three guys at first. But in the end, the lesson is “if you revealed your true self and got dumped for it, then he or she is not for you”.
I’m sure this is not new to anyone. But why do we keep on holding back? Is it the fear of rejection? Hmmmm… It’s painful, if you really think about it. I guess we don’t usually tell the truth to avoid pain. But if we don’t say it now, we’re sure to suffer more in the long run. So, yeah. Truth, it is.
