As soon as I landed in Oakland, I went to get my car from the nearby parking garage and drove up to Danville to meet with Greg and the gang. I was the second to get there. Andreas was there already. Obviously, everyone else was running late. Anyway, I was there. I made it. There were changes in transportation arrangements. I suddenly found myself riding with Andreas. I couldn’t complain. I wanted to just drive alone. But I was so tired from the trip that I might pass out on the way. So, I decided to take Andreas’ open passenger seat.
The drive up to the camp site was great. The scenery was beautiful. But when we got there, I couldn’t find the words to describe what I was seeing. I just felt overwhelmed with everything around me.
